TIKTOK CONTEST

Welcome to our TikTok contest! This one is for all you creatives out there with video as your medium of choice!

This year we award prices in two categories: 

👻COSPLAY👻

Any kind of cosplay is allowed! Thrifted, bought, closet cosplays, homemade, existing characters and OC’s! You may have multiple cosplayers in your video. This contest is not judged on your costume, but on how well you use it (as well as lights, backgrounds, camera angles, editing and effects) to produce your final video.

By submitting your video to this contest you confirm that all cosplayers appearing in the video consent to it being used and screened as part of this contest.

🎃EDITS🎃

Edits from any media are welcome! You may source your clips from one or multiple fandoms. The judges will look at the level of editing skill, but also the overall narrative and impact of the video.

GENERAL GUIDELINES

- You may not enter with a video that has previously been posted.

- Entries can be no longer than one minute long.

- You can use any audio, but keep in mind that Banzaicon is a family friendly con and that very explicit video or audio content may not be shown.

- You may enter one or both categories, and may submit 3 entries in total.

- To be eligible to win you must be attending Banzaicon 12, and be at least 13 years old (the legal age requirement for TIKTOK).

JUDGES

Both categories will be judged by Ignischild and Mumii.Cos, both experienced tiktokers, cosplayers and editors!

HOW TO ENTER:

1. Upload your video to TIKTOK

2. Make sure to mark your video with the hashtag #banzai12tiktok

3. Send your videos to Cosplay@banzaicon.no

4. All entries must be in before midnight on Wednesday 9th of October

SCREENING AND PRIZES

At the con we will have a screening of all entries (or a selection, if we receive very many).

The winners of each category will be announced at the award ceremony on Sunday!
