Maru

Coming to us all the way from Denmark, it’s Maru! She’s been a cosplayer since 2006, and it was this creative hobby that inspired her to become a professional seamstress working as a costume technician at the Danish Royal Theatre. Her speciality is sewing, and the more intricate the cut the better!

She also has a great love of performance and cosplay contests, which has led her to representing Denmark in a number of prestigious tournaments, including ECG in Paris, WCS in Japan and even winning Eurocosplay in London.

We’re thrilled to have her visit Banzaicon to help judge both the Cosplay Classic contest and the performance contest, as well as hosting a panel to share some of her performance secrets!
