It is very important to remember to eat and drink regularly during Banzaicon. It’s easy to forget about such things as thirst and hunger when a lot of things are happening, but in order to be at the top of your game, food and beverage is extremely important. We offer food at reasonable prices in our café, so that you can get proper nutrition without having to deal with expensive restaurants or other pricey stores.

We can store your luggage, but neither Banzaicon nor Rounin Events will stand responsible for any lost belongings. If you are planning to wear a costume, but don’t want to travel in it, it’s possible to use our spacious restrooms as dressing rooms, where you can safely change your clothes without an audience.

These rules are to ensure that everyone feels safe with attending Banzaicon. We encourage all participants to not carry any “toy weapons” visible outside the event. All props must be treated with caution. If handled recklessly, it will be taken into care by reception until you leave Banzaicon. In addition, we have prohibitions on certain props. There will be an inspection at the main entrance.
Prohibition on the following props:

  • Mainly made of hard materials such as metal and wood. Especially those that are designed as a sword or blunt object.
  • Pointed or sharp edges.
  • Firearms and replica firearms.

Exceptions can be made to nerfgun and airsoft, but then consent has to be given to the following: The weapon has a colourful plastic tip, the trigger must be sealed with a cable tie and do not bring ammunition. No ammunition, of any kind, is to be discharged at the premises.
If you have any props that matches the above description, then it must be submitted to reception. Exceptions are granted to those who will act during the costume contest, but then addition rules will follow, like: they must at all times be carried with respect and immediately handed back to reception after the performance is finished.
